Position Summary:
The Physical Therapy Assistant in Outpatient settings are responsible for supporting the physical therapist in administering medically prescribed physical therapy programs to assigned patients/clients. This role operates under the direct supervision of the physical therapist, overseeing each patient’s care plan.
The therapist assistant will assume responsibility and accountability for providing physical therapy modalities and treatment procedures as specified in a plan of care established by a physical therapist, and in accordance with facility and departmental policies, upholding the highest standards of quality care. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals is essential to maintain professional standards of practice and foster interdisciplinary teamwork.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Deliver patient/client care and assessments in alignment with practice standards and facility/departmental policies.
• Provide care as directed by physical Therapist plan of care set forth by the evaluating therapist.
• Accurately assess and measure patient/client status within licensure limits to support care and evaluate effectiveness.
• Maintain clear communication and collaboration with the evaluating therapist to optimize therapeutic outcomes and summarize patient progress against established goals.

Salary Range: 61,500 to 78,000.00
Qualifications:
• Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Program
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license
